Limerock

Limerock (the bulk stone name for Onondaga Limestone) oxidizes over time and has the appearance of an overall powdery patina. The steel grey eventually turns light grey (almost white) and the stone’s tans and veining become more prominent when exposed. This process takes many years, but becomes apparent after a few years after installation. Exposure to the sun speeds the process.
