OPTIONS FOR VARIATIONS TO VENEER

The possibilities are numerous and depend upon the style desired. Some typical variations are noted below which co-inside with the “run” of the geology of the Alcove quarry.

PATTERN
Long Bar may be mixed with 4” and 6” Alcove Ashler Veneer products for a long linear pattern. Rusticated faces from plumb would be necessary to incorporate long bars into a veneer wall, unless the backs of each stone were sawn off. Long bars are all natural faced, and sorted into two setting bed depths, and two height ranges, and three length categories; as shown below:

Setting Bed Depths    Height Range #1    Height Range #2
3” to 6”                     Up to 5”    6” to 12”
6” to 12”    Up to 5”    6” to 12”
Lengths
2’-6” to 4’-0”
4’-0” to 6’-0”
6’-0” to 8’-0”

TEXTURE
Indian Fields: <1> to 1 ½” from arris, with rustic faces and some horizontal veining.

COLOR
Antique (split faces only): Light blue/gray with brown rim

Veneer products are sorted by type and palletized on 3000-pound pallets.
